DIGITALISING AGRIBUSINESS IN CAMEROON

The CamCCUL network in partnership with TRANSFAGRI through MINFI is putting in place an online system that'll enable farmers to sell their farm produce, obtain agric-financing, get online training and communicates.

CAGRIB is an Agribusiness platform that solves the challenges farmers face when it comes to;

• Selling all their products to the public thereby limiting pre-harvest losses,

• Acquiring funds to improve their productivity as required by the Local and Global market,

• Connect with other Agribusiness actors across the Agricultural value chain for the purpose of enhancing business opportunities,

• To get adequate information and proper knowledge that will help them improve their techniques of farming and become both effective and efficient..

The system is currently being used and tested by Members and farmers of ALOU, Mbouda, Atuala, M'mouck credit union. This test is to be carried out for a period of 2 years before direct implementation in carried out.
